The no-show nightmare: you paid to acquire the lead, but the reminder never landed. Email reminders get buried in the promotions tab. To be seen, a reminder has to reach the one place people always look: the lock screen. The EventCon way: reminders arrive as personal iMessages in the same thread where the attendee already talked to you, so they get seen and answered.

What you need

  • A Two-Way line, because reminders mean texting first. Inbound lines have no outreach. See Buy a line.
  • Registrants or call bookings in Contacts
  • An agent that can answer logistics questions: venue, parking, start time, what to bring, Wi-Fi

A reminder rhythm that works

Write reminders people answer

  • Ask a question. “Still good to make it?” gets replies, and a reply is a commitment.
  • Let the agent handle logistics. When people ask about parking, timing, or what to bring, the agent answers right away.
  • Flag the “can’t make it” replies. Have the agent hand those to a human, who can offer another date or a recording.
On a big event, hundreds of reminders may queue up. Smart queueing paces them to protect your line, so send the day-before reminder early enough for everyone to receive it in time.
