The problem: you pay for the click, then send it to a landing page, a form, and a spam-flagged A2P text. Every step between the ad and a real conversation loses leads: page load, scroll, form, submit, and waiting for a reply. The EventCon way: the lead taps your ad, iMessage opens with a pre-filled message, and they hit send. They started the conversation, so they actually answer. Your AI agent replies in seconds, answers questions, and sends the ticket link.
EventCon reports that sending ad traffic straight to iMessage typically lifts reply rates from around 15% to 80%.

What you need

An Inbound (136/mo)or∗∗Two−Way∗∗(136/mo) or **Two-Way** (385/mo) line. Both give you your own number with a custom area code. Inbound has no outreach, which is fine here because leads text you first. Buy a line

Set it up

1

Get your pre-filled iMessage link

Inbound and Two-Way lines include a pre-filled iMessage link for free. When someone taps it on their phone, Messages opens with your number and a ready-to-send message. The link uses the standard sms: format, so it works on iPhone and Android:
2

Write the pre-filled message

Make it sound like something a real person would send, and make it tell your agent what the lead wants:
  • “Hi! I saw your ad for the Miami Wealth Summit. Are VIP seats still available?”
  • “Hey, I’m interested in the March mastermind. Can you tell me more?”
Use a different pre-filled message for each ad or channel (Facebook, Instagram, flyer, stage slide). You’ll see in the Inbox where every lead came from, and your agent can tailor its first reply.
3

Point your ads at the link

Use the link as the destination for your ad’s call-to-action, such as “Text us” or “Send message”. Put the same link behind a Text us button on your website.
4

Take it offline

Your number goes anywhere: print it on flyers, put it on stage slides, and turn the pre-filled link into a QR code for posters and badges.
5

Brief your agent for inbound

Inbound leads arrive warm with a question. Make sure your agent knows:
  • The event details, ticket tiers, prices, and the ticket link
  • The qualification questions to ask before sending a link or booking a call
  • When to hand off to a human, for example for group deals or sponsorships
6

Test it end to end

Tap your own ad or link from a phone, send the pre-filled message, and check that the agent’s reply is fast, accurate, and on-brand.

What happens with Android leads?

EventCon detects the lead’s device. Leads who aren’t on an iPhone are routed to SMS, so everyone who taps your ad still gets a reply.

Measure it

  • Watch the Inbox for new conversations and the questions leads ask most. Add those answers to your agent.
  • Use the Dashboard to track message volume and AI credit usage against your ad spend.
  • Compare pre-filled message variants to see which ads start the most conversations.
