The qualification gap: leads book a call but never show, because nothing built rapport beforehand. With no real conversation in front of the booking, the meeting feels optional. The EventCon way: an AI agent has a genuine back-and-forth first. It learns what the lead wants, answers their questions, and books the call only when they’re warm.

What you need

  • A line: Inbound for ad leads, Two-Way if you’ll also text your list first. See Buy a line.
  • A booking link for your calendar
  • An agent whose goal is a booked call

The play

1

Define who's qualified

Write down two or three questions that separate a good-fit lead from a poor one, such as revenue stage, goals, timeline, or budget. Add them to the agent brief under Qualify by asking.
2

Set the agent's goal to the booking

Set success = call booked and add your booking link. Tell the agent to ask the qualifying questions before sending the link.
3

Handle the fit objection

The most common objection is “not sure it’s right for me.” Give the agent a clear picture of who you serve so it can reassure the right people and gently redirect the wrong ones.
4

Book, then confirm

Once the call is booked, the agent should confirm the time in the same thread. A lead who agreed in conversation is far more likely to show up than one who filled in a form.
5

Remind on the lock screen

Send a short reminder before the call, from the same line, in the same thread. See Reduce no-shows.

Example conversation

Read a handful of conversations that didn’t book each week. The questions where leads drop off show you exactly what to add to the agent’s brief.
